This matte jersey is a little sheer, and has wonderful drape. It absorbs light, and has a dry hand. It is good for clingy and sexy designs, draping and ruching, for lingerie, tops, etc. It definitely should be lined for skirts and dresses. It would also make a nice background for trade show display cases, for example if you need something on which to set jewelry. It does not photograph well because it's black and very matte, with virtually no texture. But if you would like a swatch please feel free to ask!
