Buff has a small repeating flaw 16" from the selvedge so it is price-reduced. The flaw doesn't affect the stability of the fabric. Feather light and silky soft 4-way stretch fabric for bras, panties, camisoles, slips, teddies or even where a lining with spandex is desired. This is very light and has a cool hand. Everyone who touches it can't help but "ooh" and "ahh" over it. To compare weights, the nylon-spandex fabric we carry for bathing suits is usually 5.5-6 oz. per square yard, and this is 3.25 oz. per square yard. Nonetheless, it feels pretty sturdy and does not run like 100% nylon tricot fabrics do (although all knits will snag and run under enough stress). The fabric is 67" wide so you get a lot of fabric in a yard. If you want to unleash your inner pinup gal and make your own cute underthings, this is for you! A couple of customers have even used this for fabric sculptures, stretching it over a wire or PVC frame to form a design. It's softness and nice drape belies how strong it is.
