They're great for using on delicate fabrics, because all the hardware is on the inside, and the fabric won't rip when you open and close the bag. There is no stress on the fabric, and nothing to snag.
- I don't recommend using it for thick fabrics. We used them on an evening dress brocade with a lightweight lining and it worked fine.
- They are super easy to use. You need no tools - you don't even need to know how to sew. Use duct tape to tape the plastic inside the fabric, and there will be no visible stitches. You could also use glue, or sew right through the vinyl. It's perforated a little to make it easy for a needle to pass through. Just make sure you have the correct sides of the magnets facing each other, or it won't work!
