Measuring inside dimensions from left to right (see photo) - 3/4"; outside dimensions: 1" . Top to bottom inside dimensions (sides with rhinestones) - just under 1"; outside dimensions are 1 1/4". Metal is nickel/silvertone, flat, and rhinestones are set-in to prevent snags. The metal in which the rhinestones are set is black enamel. This part of the ring is 1/4".

A very nicely made ring on quality metal -- it would be cute on a bathing suit or halter top.
