This is a 1 1/2" 2-piece metal cinch buckle for making retro belts. The opening is 1 1/2" wide, so you would use a 1 1/2" wide elastic or other material. Or use a wider piece of stretchy fabric and have a gathered effect. You could do a million things with this. The buckle is held together by tension; it does not snap.

The opening is 1 1/2". The highest part is 1 5/8" tall. When buckled, the two pieces come together as 2" wide.
